    Research


    • My current and near future research plans includes studying QCD in perturbative and non-perturbative regime relevant to collider physics. This is particularly useful to understand backgrounds for new searches at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). I use effective field theory techniques in this regard, specially Soft Collinear Effective Theory. I am interested in inclusive observables for understanding jets at the Large Hadron Collider. I am also interested in application of effective field theory techniques in other areas of physics.
